Boss Battles and Realm Relics
These badges require solving world puzzles, summoning realm portals, and taking down high-health boss encounters. Boss health does not reset upon player death during these battles, allowing you to return and finish off remaining health pools.
Ancient Winters
Travel to the winter island, which appears as a white brick floating in the sky. Charge your gauntlet with Q and fire projectiles using E at the three columns marked with patterns until all three columns illuminate. Step through the central portal into the structure, charge the gauntlet, and strike the middle column to trigger the battle. Eliminate the spawning minions to deplete the initial health bar. During phase two, avoid ceiling icicles and laser beams. Defeating the boss reveals a portal surrounded by floating stones; fire at the glowing stone to collect the Casket of Ancient Winters and earn the badge.
World5. (Heart of Ymir)
Collect eight Ice Fragments by defeating NPCs wearing gift boxes on their heads. Walk to the center of the main map and activate the blue orb to teleport to World5. Survive the boss attacks until an audible alarm triggers. Fire a Hadron Enforcer (particle accelerator) at the boss to destroy all six floating eyes, exposing its brain. Strike the brain to eliminate the boss, then climb through the ceiling opening behind its head to collect the Heart of Ymir relic.
Sword of Surtur
Enter the catacombs and activate the Ymir click freeze ability to chill the lava. Proceed into the left hallway, press Q and E on the gauntlet to unlock the barrier, and step onto the metal platform until the lava reactivates to descend. Freeze the lava again, take the right passage, and interact with the pedestal using E. Eliminate the shielded orange-capped minions using the particle accelerator to pierce their shields.
Next, submit to the scanning drone underneath Lunar Island. Return to the catacombs to read the wall symbols, then head back to Lunar Island and shoot the matching numbers on the wall. Repeating this deciphering sequence causes the crown to spawn. Return to the catacombs altar, place the crown to summon Surtur, and freeze him using Ymir's ability before firing charged blasts to finish the encounter.
Universal Weapon
